ch 26, 2012, Triangle Tyre Co., Ltd was evaluated as Province-level Innovative Enterprise by Shandong Science & Technology Bureau, Shandong State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission and Shandong Federation of Trade Unions.

During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, Triangle took technology innovation as company’s top priority. Triangle keeps investing in technology innovation, and many achievements and breakthroughs have been made in recent years. Triangle has 196 domestic and foreign patent rights in total, of which 21 are authorized invention patents and 25 are authorized international patents. Triangle presided over and participated in drafting 35 national standards. Triangle was invited to attend the UN/WP29 in Geneva and participated in drafting the Global Tire Technical Regulations. In the field of tire innovation and manufacturing, Triangle made key technical breakthroughs in giant OTR production and equipment development, one-stage mixing process. Many of the innovation achievements reach the world-class level. On August 7, 2011, The National Engineering Laboratory for Tire Design and Manufacturing which is the most advanced and valuable tire related technology innovation platform in Chinese tire industry was located in Triangle. All the achievements have significantly improved Triangle’s competitiveness and development impetus, and promoted the development of Chinese tire industry.
