On May 4, the signing ceremony of Harbin Institute of Technology & Triangle Tyre Co., Ltd Strategic Cooperation Agreement--Aircraft Tire Cooperative Development Contract was held in the headquarter of Triangle.

Xu Xinlian, Vice Mayor of Weihai, Jiang Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee of HIT and Ding Yuhua, Chairman of Triangle Tyre Co., Ltd attended the ceremony and delivered their speeches. According to the Agreement, both sides will carry out comprehensive school-enterprise cooperation in the fields of tire and rubber technology as well as talents cultivation etc. in order to meet Triangle’s rising demand for tire design, analysis and manufacturing technologies, information and talents. At the mean time, both sides agree to establish the Triangle Group—Harbin Institute of Technology Tire Technology Research Center. The Center will focus on the R&D of aircraft tires and other tire technologies under the support of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd.
