On the morning of July 16, the 2021 Hunan (International) General Aviation Industry Expo kicked off at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. It is the first professional and international general aviation exhibition in Hunan Province, the first global low-altitude open pilot province in China. Triangle attended the expo as one of the members of a joint lab for ground dynamics of large aircraft.

The three-day expo is themed by “general aviation ushers in a better life” with an exhibition and a dynamic flight show. The exhibition held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center covers a total area of 60,000 square meters, gathering participants in the fields of general aviation manufacturing, application, experience, and popular science education. It provides a window into the world of general aviation in various application scenarios throughout the whole industry chain. The flying display is staged at the Zhuzhou Lusong Airport, where air show professionals give performances of different types of aircraft.

The front tires with 30×8.8R15 specification and main landing gear tires with 46×17.0R20 specification developed by Triangle were exhibited at Gate 8, Pavilion W3 of the exhibition center during the expo. In particular, the 30×8.8R15 tire is the first civil aviation radial tire to pass the dynamic simulation test of CTSO-C62e standard for civil aviation in China.

On October 15, 2019, Triangle achieved full participation in the construction of a joint lab for ground dynamics of large aircraft.  The lab is led by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) and based on a test platform for aircraft ground dynamics. With the support of high-quality industrial resources at home and abroad, it provides an innovation platform integrating production with learning, research and application. It strives to satisfy the market needs and solve practical problems. Joint research efforts on the ground dynamics of civil aviation have been made, and a technology-driven innovation base is gradually built. In this process, Triangle is responsible for the research of dynamic performance and friction dynamics of tire products on the ground, as well as the landing gear system and other tire-related projects.

On the top of advanced national-level engineering laboratory testing equipment and technical achievements the company has made, Triangle equips itself with a high-level technical R&D team for the development of aviation tires and ensures sufficient research investments. At present, Triangle has put its aviation radial tire R&D and testing platform and production line into full operation, and a quality system that meets the airworthiness requirements has been established.
