On July 12th, Chinese Chemical & Technology Corporation Management Association and Chinese Chemical & Technology Corporation Information Association issued the year 2008 《Chinese Chemical& Technology Corporation development Reports》in Shanghai, annonunced the Chinese Top 500 Corporations in Chemical& Technology Industry. Triangle Group honors No.15 among the Chinese top 500 corporations with its operating results in year 2007.
As per the national tradition, the Chinese top 500 corporations in Chemical& Technology Industry was carried out with enterprise's business income as the main correlation index and confirmation provided by the third party simultaneously, which guaranteed the accuracy and authority of data. The participated corporations involves various industries and enterprises, including chemical fertilizer, rubber, rubber manufacturing, chemical preparations, ect., which has a widespread representative, and arose enormous echo in the Chemical& Technology field. The list issued this time, only contains the traditional chemical & technology enterprises,or locally chemical & technology enterprises to be said, don’t including the national monopoly company with big scales, such as PetroChina Company, China Offshore Company and Qilu Petrochemical Company, which enhanced the transverse contrast between the enterperises. From the situation of the Top 500 Enterprises, it can be concluded that Chinese chemical & technology enterprises become more stronger at scale and intensivism at present.
The data from stewardship committee of Chinese top 500 chemical & technology enterprises denotes that the total sales revenue of the top 500 enterprises in year 2008 is 1185 billion RMB, grow 46% than last year 811.7 billion RMB,  and its total sales revenue takes up 41.8% of the sales revenue from all the chemical & technology enterprises, grow 4.4% than last year, the industrial intensivism was strengthened. At the same time, the scale of the the top 500 enterprises were enlarged, the enterprise amount of its sales revenue over 10 billion RMB reaches 15, 10 more than last year, and the enterprise amount of its sales revenue less than 10 billion RMB is 168, 82 less than last year.
From the industrial structures of the top 500 chemical & technology enterprises, it can be seen that the national enterprises and state-owned enterprises takt up the dominant position, 3/4 enterprise, majority in foundation chemical & technology and specialized chemical & technology manufacturing, concentrated in the East coastal areas, and the raw material enterprises occupies the overwhelming superiority for profitting in raw material price grow up.
In recent years, enterprises merger & acquisition strengthened and scale enlarged unceasingly, and the doorsill for the top 500 chemical & technology enterprises was more strictly under such situation.
