Triangle Group ascends in China’s Top 500 Corporations list the sixth Time

On August 30, 2008, the list of 2008 China's top 500 Corporations, which was assessed by the Chinese Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and the Chinese Enterprise Directors Association (CEDA), was released in Yinchuan. Triangle ranks 474 among China's top 500 Corporations, makes the sixth time in the list of China's top 500 Corporations with its 10 billion RMB in operation income. At the conference of 2008 China's top 500 Corporations list releasing, as well as the meeting of China top corporations, the CEC & CEDA released the top 500 corporations in China Manufacturing Industry, the forth time from it was released in Year 2005, and Triangle Group ranks 276 in the list. The China's top 500 Corporations list was assessed by the CEC & CEDA with the coporation operation income and its scale, as per the international traditional, which has a quite big representation and cause a big echo in the domestic and foreign bussiness communities, been regarded as the pylon to observe and understand China Corporations. Comparing at the whole scale, the 2008 China’s top 500 corporations witnessed a 25 percent increase in operation income from previous year, 3.58 times as it in year 2002. And total assets of the 2008 China’s top 500 corporations has a 13.2 percent increase from previous year, 2.29 times as it in year 2002. The total operation income and profit of the 2008 China’s top 500 corporations increased obviously from previous year, the gap between China’s Top 500 Corporations and World Top 500 Corporations is becoming smaller. The China’s Top 500 Manufacturing Corporations distribute in 38 industries. The listed corporations has some increase in operation income, thus the doorsill for corporation accepting is higher. The industries distribution characters is more or less similar as it in previous two years. The companies in Smelting and Pressing of Ferrous/ Nonferrous Metals in industry still takes up the biggest number, it is 88 companies in the list, one less than previous year, takes up 17% of the total number. From No.2 to No.5 in the list, there are 33 equipment manufacturing companies in electric power, electricity, eletric transfer, etc. , 28 companies in common Smelting and Pressing of Nonferrous Metals industry, 26 manufacturing companies in home electric equipment and spare parts, 26 manufacturing companies in chemistry raw materials and chemical production. |
